About the teacher
Kaneohe Music School is led by Jimmy Park, a professional music teacher who has been teaching students on Oʻahu since 1985. He studied Jazz Arranging and Composition at Berklee College of Music, where he also developed experience on a variety of instruments. Over the years, Jimmy has worked with students of many ages, backgrounds, and levels of experience—from complete beginners to experienced musicians.
His approach is practical and personal: learn the music you enjoy, understand what you're doing, develop good musical habits, and become increasingly independent as a musician. The goal isn't simply to take lessons. It's to develop a relationship with music that can last a lifetime.
